    Three-Dimensional Designs Inspired by Nature

With the vision to offer industrial level quality floor mats with Scandinavian design, partners Sonja Djønne and Thoralf Lian founded the Mo i Rana, Norway based label Heymat in 2015. This vision now brings the innovative family business to Germany; Heymat will be presenting its versatile floor mats for the first time at the imm cologne 2020 (Hall 3.2, Stand F-050).

“Design can and should always be sustainable – that’s why we have created floor mats that combine quality, design, and sustainability in a particularly beautiful way. Our goal is for our customers to be able to use the design floor mats for many years to come – and with a clear conscience.” Sonja Djønne, CEO Heymat

HEYMAT+: Multiple award-winning design from Norway: The label is particularly proud of the HEYMAT+ collection – in addition to the pile being made of 100 percent recycled plastic, the design by Kristine Five Melvær, one of Norway’s leading designers, has already won several awards, such as the German Design Award 2020, the “Vakre hverdagsvarer” (Beautiful Everyday Products) award from the Norwegian trade fair “Ditt Hjem 2019”, an Archiproducts Design Award 2019, and a nomination for the NYCxDesign Awards 2019.

Inspired by water, wind, earth, and rocks, the monochrome floor mats are a soothing eye-catcher for any modern home. Like the patterns that emerge in the soft sand of Japanese Zen gardens or the wind that blows into the gentle waters of the fjords, HEYMAT+ radiates calm, balance, and harmony. The various 3D patterns are not only aesthetically pleasing, but also act as a gentle brush that helps absorb dirt and impurities.
